If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
Hospital Prescriptions
Please note that if you are prescribed a medication privately, you are responsible for paying for the first prescription to be dispensed. If the medication agrees with you then we are happy to include future prescriptions as long as we have your consultants instruction.
If you are prescribed a medication by an NHS hospital you must pick that prescription up from the hospital pharmacy. We are unable to process the first prescription.
