  • DR SARAH HEYES

    (Partner) BDSc (Melb.), FDSRCS (Eng), MBBS (Lond.), DCH, DFFP, DRCOG, MRCGP

    Dr Sarah Heyes was born in the UK then relocated to Australia aged 17. She graduated from the University of Melbourne Dental School and went on to spend a total of 7 years as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Australia and the UK. She qualified from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School in 2000 and has gone on to complete diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Family Planning and membership to the Royal College of General Practice. She has previously been a Professional Executive Committee member of Redbridge PCT and is currently the Clinical Director responsible for the GP practices in Woodford Green, South Woodford and Wanstead.

  • DR SHAHRUKH ISLAM

    MBBS (Lond, 2003), DCH, MRCGP, DRCOG

    Dr Shahrukh Islam graduated from Royal Free Medical School in 2003. He trained locally and completed his general practice training in Southend. Dr Islam’s special interests include child health, elderly medicine and palliative care.

    MBBS (Lond. 1991) DRCOG DFFP

    Dr Chesworth graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1991. She completed her GP training in London. She also worked for some years in Sexual Health at Kingston Hospital. Dr Chesworth continues to be particularly interested in sexual health and women’s health care.

  • DR SHARON VU

    MBBS (Lond. 2007), MRCGP (2012), DRCOG, PGDip Clinical Dermatology (Distinction)

    Qualified from Royal Free and University College Medical School in 2007 and completed GP training in Watford and St Albans in 2012. Also works as a private GP for BUPA. Enjoys all aspects of general practice, in particular Dermatology, Women’s Health, and Diabetes.

  • DR NADIA BASHIR

    MBBS, BSc, MRCGP (2010) DRCOG (2008) DFSRH (2011)

    Dr Bashir qualified from the Royal Free and University College London Medical school and completed her GP training locally in Barking and Havering in 2010. Dr Bashir has an interest in undergraduate medical education and is a GP tutor for the Royal free and UCL Medical school.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Practice Management

The management team are involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The team supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

    I bring 20 years’ experience both within the NHS and private healthcare sector. Our practice team work together, to ensure that our vision and values are delivered. “We aim to deliver caring, safe, responsive, effective and well-led services” and continuously seek ways in which our services can be improved. Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

    Simarone can connect you to community groups and non-clinical services for practical and emotional support. If you need support with lifestyle, debt, employment, managing stress, anxiety, bereavement, loneliness etc, or if you would like to promote general well-being, our social prescriber can refer you into local exercise groups. Our Social Prescriber can link you to support within your community to help you work towards a more fulfilling life.
